What you'll do

Develop data Pipelines to solve operational problems individually and in collaboration with other team members

Understand existing data models and propose changes based on addition of new data sources

Build new data models based on user requirements and provide efficient ways of consuming the same for end users

Build attractive stories using data visualization tools for end user consumption

Contribute to building end to end data engineering projects (identifying sources, pre-processing, data cleansing, data pipelines, optimized storage, data models, visualizations)

Collaborate actively with Data science team members and understand and provide efficient data and storage mechanisms for them to consume

Understand business problems and translate these into Data engineering solutions

Understand the data sources required for solving business problems and develop efficient ways to ingest the same using best practices

What you'll bring

Graduate with 10 years of experience working as a data engineer

Highly proficient with SQL, relational and non-relational databases & unstructured data

Proficient with Python programming language and its use in building data engineering projects

Good experience working with data engineering tools such as Spark, AWS Glue, Databricks, GSP Data Flow, Airflow etc.

Experience in developing efficient data pipelines for complex data requirements involving several millions of data

Experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc.

Some familiarity with ML frameworks and libraries (such as xgboost, Pytorch, Tensorflow, pandas, numpy etc.)

Familiarity with Microservice paradigms and related technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and REST APIs
