Senior Application Engineer - eCAD

Job Description

• The Engineer will be a part of the ECAD Team, for the development of ECAD Models (Symbols, Footprints and 3D Models). It is required that the engineer should be a component expert and have good knowledge of semiconductor devices. This will allow the engineer to add value in component model development.

• The ability to visualize problems is key to being successful in this role along with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. This resource will be responsible for diagnosis and analysis of model designs, parameters and will be expected to bring first level detailed diagnosis.

• This role will need to be filled by an individual who is committed to creating ideas for a quality ECAD model. You will have significant career growth and the opportunity to really make an impact in a growing company.

• The Candidate will be an Individual Contributor.

• The candidate will be required to learn digital, analog and power designs.

• The candidate must have a knowledge of different components (mainly, but not limited to, Renesas Portfolio devices).

• Expertise in Simulation tools like PSPICE, MATLAB or any other will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a knowledge of PCB designing tools or drawing tools like Altium, Orcad, Autodesk, Visio etc.

• The candidate must be a Postgraduate/Graduate in Electrical, Electronics or Power Electronics domain with a minimum of 6 years experience.
