American Express Global Business Travel Product Deployment Lead in Bangalore, India

What you'll do :

  • Candidates with knowledge of ConnectClient, Profile Expert Plus, and/or Connect Profile are desirable

  • The role requires the candidate to operate in a protected environment. Driving large complex deployment projects with over 15 country launches across multiple phases, collaborating with teams across GBT on systems interfaces

  • Understanding of upstream & downstream processes for the business/process in deployment OR the travel industry is expected

  • Experience deploying/project managing large complex implementations - Global clients with a presence in over 20 countries and with various online booking tools and GDS combinations

  • Knowledge of the travel domain – ticketing, customer service, travel operations

  • Understanding of TMC operations, partnerships, service providers, etc.

  • GDS experience

  • Sabre and Amadeus's knowledge is desired

  • Apollo and Galileo's experience would be an added advantage

  • Experience across Concur, DEEM, GetThere, and other OBTs would be an added advantage

  • The candidate should have a fair knowledge of MS Office tools

  • Working experience on Salesforce, Rally, DEEM Dashboard/Support would be a good to have

  • Should have excellent project management skills – Creating Issues logs, status reporting, orchestration of conversations to solve client requirements

  • develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Have experience working with Salesforce

  • Experience working with Sabre and Concur is preferred. These have great dependency on the deployment activities the team manages

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Participate in client interactions – training, troubleshooting, data gathering, and escalation management

What we're looking for :

  • The candidate should have strong communication skills in English – Written & Spoken

  • Prior experience in managing customer relationships, would be a key advantage

  • Manage the relationship with clients and internal company stakeholders

  • Candidate should have experience working across diverse groups/functions

  • A candidate should have the ability to assess issues/risks, exhibit analytical skills, and a solution mindset

  • Open to work in rotational and flexible shifts

  • Previous experience in project management is desired
