Job Description

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for managing a focused team of individual contributors and supervisors, overseeing day-to-day operations of the IT management function in line with organizational policies. The role drives architectural simplification, develops integrated system test requirement and strategies, and optimizes application and process capabilities, thereby ensuring that systems and applications surpass performance expectations. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and policy development and guides the team in defining program objectives and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors, overseeing day-to-day activities, and ensuring fairness, consistency, timeliness, as well as compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.

  • Ensures that systems and applications maintain high availability, surpass performance expectations, and require minimal support.

  • Develops integrated system test requirements, strategies, devices, and systems, promoting quality assurance.

  • Engages in setting up performance objectives, assembling project teams, resource allocation and ensuring the successful execution of IT management programs and processes.

  • Understands, communicates, and optimizes application and process capabilities to serve multiple IT stakeholders.

  • Drives architectural simplification while also articulating and optimizing application and process capabilities for use by all business and IT stakeholders.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and policy development, also actively engaging in their design and implementation.

  • Guides the team in defining program objectives and KPIs and setting expectations for implementation across various business groups, fostering creativity and motivation.

  • Acts as subject matter expert, identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.

  • Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in IT supervisory, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $102,500 to $157,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
