Applied Materials Motion Graphics Designer in Bangalore, India

Overview

The Motion Graphics specialist will collaborate with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, and Graphic Artists in the development, analysis, and creation of video and graphics for custom learning initiatives. Work as part of an integrated team to design cutting-edge training solutions supporting online learning environments.

DUTIES

  • Work independently or collaboratively with the team to develop, evaluate, and maintain the learning catalog

  • Creating visually stunning motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms

  • Incorporating typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content

  • Take an initial concept to the next level with motion graphics and animations, including 2D and 3D animations

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, and delivering projects on time and within budget

  • Organize and maintain video files, including following best practices for version control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files

  • Experience with any of the following tools, or similar:

  • Unity 3D (Animations)

  • Unreal Engine (Animations)

  • Maya (Animations)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in E-learning application

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Conception and execution of motion graphics animation-based projects

  • UI/Web design animation mock-ups

  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop and in at least one 3D motion design tool such as Cinema 4D, Maya or similar

  • Accuracy/attention to detail

  • Contributing to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the design team

  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision

  • Experience with adult learning theories

  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

  • Experience using Microsoft HoloLens or any other AR/VR goggles is an advantage
