Fluke IDC – Java Developer

We are looking for a Java developer to join one of our teams. In this role, you are expected to work with a team of highly skilled software engineers and pave way for building the web app solution for our flagship platform, eCM.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, implement, and maintain Java based applications for eCM.

2. Provide inputs for project milestones & schedules in Agile development environment working with the larger eCM team.

3. Interface with various product groups across the organization and contributes to eCM features in an agile development environment.

4. Rapidly prototype features and new concepts.

5. Work with support engineers to test and deploy backend applications.

6. Design and implement reusable frameworks and libraries.

   Skills Requirements :

7. 5-7 years of experience developing Backend Applications and test infrastructures, writing documentation and following an agile development methodology.

8. Demonstrated depth of experience in communicating with internal groups, including Product Management and Operations.

9. Proven ownership and delivery of a sizable product or product component, strong sense of independence and self-direction is essential.

10. Availability for travel and flexible work hours to work with teams across time zones

    Essential Technical Competencies :

    • 5-8 years of experience with Java

    • Should have worked on microservices architecture on any cloud platform

    • Extensive experience in using various architecture, frameworks and design patterns in designing/refactoring highly optimized backend services is a must.

    • Extensive experience working in TDD (Test Driven Development)/BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Deployment) environment.

    • Experience in using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Rest

    Good to have Technical competencies :

    • Knowledge of Helm, Microservices, PostGreSQL, Graphql, Kafka, MQTT, IOT, Hasura, Debezium, Event Sourcing, CQRS is desirable

    • Vibration Domain Knowledge

    • Relatable Oracle Java Certification, AWS Certification

    • Understanding of Agile Software development methodologies and scaled agile safe framework.

    Qualification :

    • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

    • Good Academic Records with > 60% marks and no gaps.
