Introduction

As an IBM Cloud Architect in the Technology Expert Labs team you will provide architectural advice and solution strategies in the use of IBM Cloud to address our clients' strategic business and technical goals. You will primarily collaborate with our clients to lead and develop the target to-be solution architecture that uses IBM Cloud. These projects may include multiple phases from inception, discovery, design, planning, implementation, workload migration, and hand over of the solution to the designated "day 2" operations team. You will provide solution architecture and technical leadership throughout these phases. Solutions are documented as architectures and can include systems, applications, processes and service components all hosted in IBM Cloud and integrated with client on premise systems in accordance with their hybrid cloud journey.

Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Technology Expert Labs Security (IBM Security Professional Services) is looking for Consultant with experience on IBM Security Verify products having developer skills. The candidate will have the ultimate responsibility of delivering the Deployment, configuration and custom development on IBM Security Verify products (ISVA, ISVG, ISAM,ISIM) for Expert Labs customers. This is a customer facing role.

• Scoping, Design, Custom development and Implementation of IBM Identity and Access Management and Governance solutions

• Provide technical expertise to ensure IBM Identity and Access Management solutions are deployed and operating to deliver the technical and business results required by the customer

• To act as a trusted client advisor to customers

• Integrating IBM IAM solution with applications

Security Practice and Delivery:

• Participate in client meetings to gather and validate market requirements

• Lead clients in requirements gathering, system definition and documentation.

• Participate in project delivery to varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs

Individual must have a strong interest and expertise in Security in general with preference for Identity and Access Management. A qualified individual would be familiar with industry blogs, key publications in the field of security and would have full awareness of any recent significant security events.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At Least 3 years of experience is required on IBM Identity and Access Management Solutions

• Sound Knowledge of IBM Security Verify (ISV) / IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) / IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM)

• Installation and Configuration of ISV / ISAM / ISIM and its dependent components/products in on-premises as well as on containerized platforms

• Strong coding experience in Infomap, Java Script (Server-side), Python (Ansible) & Ability to understand and update existing source code.

• Detailed understanding of Container deployment and orchestration.

• Detailed understanding of ISVA API flow and end-to-end request response channel.

• Detailed understanding with DevOps methodologies and container technologies such as OpenShift.

• Detailed understanding of API platforms and exposure to cross platform API interaction code development.

• Strong experience in the overall security of Web Infrastructure and best practices.

• Understanding of ISVA Representational State Transfer (REST) interfaces.

• Understanding of configuration, integration and troubleshooting of IBM Security Verify Access

• Understanding of LDAP Concepts and deep knowledge of IBM Security Directory Server

• *Understanding of creating WebSEAL reverse proxy instances, configurations and SSO integrations with different applications.

• Knowledge of extension points of IBM Access Management solution.

• Installation, Configuration and administration of middleware of IBM DB2, IBM WebSphere Application Server

• Understanding of different MFA features of ISVA

• Functional knowledge of Authorization delegation and Federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, FIDO, OpenID-Connect)

• Exxperience on IBM Security Directory Integrator

• Linux/Unix administration skills

• Experience in Java, Java Script, Python

• Excellent Communication and leadership skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Relevant Product and Industry certifications (eg. ISV Certification)

• Working knowledge of Containers

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies
