Position Summary

Job Summary:

The Expense Audit Analyst reports to the Expense Audit Manager in Bangalore, with additional oversight and supporting the Expense Audit teams in the United States and India. The position will be responsible for reviewing expense reports within Huron’s Expense Audit system, ensuring that expenses are compliant with Company policy and IRS guidelines.

Qualifications

Job Details:

  • Audit employee expense reports to ensure all items have the required supporting documentation and are compliant with Company policy.

  • Run reports out of Huron’s expense software.

  • Assist in collection of receipts or specialized reporting as needed for client or internal requests.

  • Communicate regularly with the US team to provide status updates and coordinate work.

  • Analysis of Receipts and provide the findings to the Clients.

  • Escalate outstanding unbilled items to the Expense Audit Manager/Director/EA SMEs, communicating any necessary expense reimbursement holds or adjustments.

  • Run analytic reports out of Accounting and Expense Report software to enhance the Expense Review process.

  • Provide support to the Expense Audit Associates/Specialists as needed.

  • Assist Huron employees with adjustment guidance if required and escalate expenses exceeding thresholds and incorrect submissions.

  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, fields of Business, Finance, M.B.A.(Finance) or Accounting preferred

  • 1 to 2 years of professional work experience preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must

  • Attention to detail
