About the Team

Joining the Identity and Access Management team at Nutanix means becoming part of a group of 25 self-driven individuals who are spread across locations in India and the USA. You will report to the Director, Engineering, who will provide guidance and support in your role. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, allowing for a blend of remote work and in-person collaboration, with employees required to be in the office for three days a week. There is flexibility and a focus on work-life balance to ensure optimal productivity and well-being.

At Nutanix, there is no significant travel requirement, allowing you to focus on your work and contribute effectively to the team without the need for frequent travel disruptions.

Your Role

• Drive the delivery of high-quality releases by leading the team in implementing best practices and quality assurance processes.

• Spearhead the development of innovative features that enhance our product offerings and delight our customers.

• Scale systems efficiently by identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.

• Provide leadership to direct reports, guiding them in their roles and fostering a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and drive the successful delivery of project milestones and objectives.

In your first year, you will focus on building a Globally available and scalable federated Identity and Access Management system, improving overall product quality, and increasing team agility and velocity to meet customer demands effectively.

What You Will Bring

• Must have a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

• You should have 10+ years of experience

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Linux, Database Systems, Distributed Systems, and Microservices is essential

• Must have skills in Object-Oriented Programming in one of Python, Go, Java, or C++ Secure Coding Principles,

• Must have worked in massively distributed, highly concurrent systems.

• Prior experience in dealing with various authentication systems and protocols like SAML, LDAP and OIDC is a great plus.
