About Team:

Ion Torrent™ Genexus™ Software supports the Ion Torrent™ Genexus™ Integrated Sequencer workflow for research use purposes from sample preparation through library preparation, template preparation, and sequencing. During and after sequencing, the software generates base calls, trims read, and resolves quality values (primary analysis), then aligns reads, calls variants, and generates reports (secondary analysis). The software also supports the Ion Torrent™ Genexus™ Purification System for nucleic acid isolation, followed by sequencing on the Genexus™ Integrated Sequencer.

Job Description:

• The Software Engineer should be able to Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications.

• Work with other team members to craft and implement the solutions.

• Write clean and maintainable code.

• Able to identify and debug issues in existing software.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and ready to accept the change.

• Should be able to support for continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

• Follow Sprint methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Having 6+ Years of experience in software development projects

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software applications.

Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.

Hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.

Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Having UI-side technologies like Angular is a plus

Having Cloud technologies knowledge/experience is a plus.
