REPORTS TO: Digital Product Director

JOB SUMMARY:

Polaris Industries, Inc. is seeking a Digital Product Manager to work in an exciting, very fast-paced environment supporting its global manufacturing footprint.

The Digital Product Manager, International Manufacturing, has job duties that include the end-to-end management of business needs for our Asia based manufacturing facilities. This includes managing ERP (D365 FO) feature needs, day-to-day support prioritization and strategic alignment with both IT and business leaders

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading

  • Works with local plant(s) and corporate leadership to identify opportunities for new capabilities, updates to existing capabilities and ongoing support of critical applications in the D365 FO space.

  • Develops roadmaps for features, supporting system updates, and deployment in new facilities as needed.

  • Works with adjacent Corporate IT teams to identify areas where new integrations or capabilities could be developed.

  • Understands the principles of lean production and ensures continuous development of systems.

  • Partnering with business leaders on formulation and execution of digital strategy, vision and product roadmap

  • Driving rapid iteration, testing and change to deliver on business goals and KPIs.

  • Assessing the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends

  • Define and evolve the methodology and tools for digital teams.

  • Resourcing project with matrix reporting digital talent often including selecting and managing vendors.

  • Leads, inspires, and motivates a large product team consisting of functional and integration expertise.

Getting Into the Team & Work

  • Gathering and synthesizing user needs and product requirements from a variety of sources e.g. analytical analysis, voice of customer, internal business needs and workshop outputs (journey maps, touchpoint analysis, stakeholder maps, sketching, etc.)

  • Writes user stories aligned with product vision to right-sized product backlog items, creating clear goals for the product team.

  • Leads the overall product management efforts for the International Manufacturing area including direct leadership and management of team members and delegating product ownership as necessary to balance work across the teams.

  • Contributes to prioritization, maintains the sprint backlog and performs just-in-time story elaboration with the implementation team.

  • Manages stakeholder expectations while maintaining an up-to-date roadmap to be shared with all stakeholders

  • Strong understanding and experience managing backlogs, backlog grooming, prioritization, and daily maintenance of product backlogs. Has experience leading other product owners while also maintaining their own products.

  • Responsible for monitoring product status and feedback in the marketplace

  • Leads and works closely with Scrum team to guide, direct, and ensure acceptance criteria is met, while maintaining focus on quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field or the equivalent in work experience

  • 12+ years of demonstrated ability crafting and supporting the configuration and deployment of D365 FO modules (Order-to-Cash, Finance, Discrete Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Warehouse Management and Material Planning)

  • 5+ years partnering with business stakeholders building and delivering a technology roadmap.

  • Must have strong experience within Manufacturing processes in a global manufacturing.

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills with outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to lead, collaborate, influence, and coordinate activities in a cross functional, team-oriented environment to deliver technology applications or technical products.

  • Must have strong experience in Agile and Scrum methodology.

  • Technical aptitude to evaluate requirements and coordinate with business analysts, architects, and developers.

  • Demonstrated results establishing a product vision and roadmaps that led to successful business value.

  • Must have strong experience in D365FO Integrations with external systems, with strong understanding of SOA, Microservices, and API based integrations.
