What you'll do

  • Facilitate the deployment of releases and patches to SuccessFactors environments.

  • Collaborate with developers, operations team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software changes.

  • Manage and optimize release processes, including release planning, execution, and rollback procedures.

  • Automate the release process to enhance efficiency and continually improve the tools used for release management.

  • Participate in patch management activities to resolve critical issues and maintain system stability.

  • Manage compliance for overall SuccessFactors product area.

  • Build tooling and dashboards by connecting to various version control systems, pipelines and quality dashboards

What you bring

  • Minimum 4years of experience in software development

  • Working experience in Java backend development/ support and experience with any UI frontend technology (e.g., React, Angular)

  • Strong experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and best practices.

  • Ability to effectively utilize JIRA and Confluence for project tasks and documentation creation.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Jenkins), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Meet your Team

SuccessFactors Release Management team plays a pivotal role in the organization by overseeing and managing multiple elements of all SuccessFactors releases. Team responsibilities include actively supporting major code releases, monthly releases, and all patching activities. The team ensures smooth releases by developing processes that make releases seamless. In addition to the above activities, the team monitors post-release metrics and implements improvements via release retrospectives. This is a highly visible role and the right candidate will inspire and facilitate our product teams to deliver world class solutions.
