Data Scientist
Key Responsibilities
Applies Data Analysis methodologies to solve customer high value problems (HVP) like chamber/ tool matching, defect reduction, yield improvement, technology/ recipe transfer to High Volume Manufacturing fabs, preventive/ corrective maintenance activities etc.
Collaborating with Technical Consultants & Solution Architect to provide solutions to meet customer needs.
Is responsible for the technical quality of the work delivered to meet customer engagement requirements
Explore various part tracking data bases and establish correlations with part parameters and tool performance metrics
Make best use of available analytics applications (both in-house or commercial) and also guide the application development team as a subject matter expert
Accountable for managing the customer and customer satisfaction during project
Manage execution of multiple projects in parallel
Requirements
Bachelors/Masters/PhD in the field of Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics/Technology or related fields with at least 1 to 5 years experience in the industry
Work experience as a Semiconductor process engineer/ Yield analyst improving efficiency and quality, process transfer from development to production, applying analytical techniques for troubleshooting tool issues in semiconductor fabs
Good to have prior experience in data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis techniques such as Univariate/ Multivariate analysis or other Machine Learning techniques
The ideal candidate will have an added advantage if having skills in scripting using R, Python, Shell scripts as well as JMP
Understanding of imaging systems and physics for complex parts will be added advantage
Ability to cleanse, analyze large volume of data will be added advantage
Having fundamental knowledge of Digital Image Processing will be added advantage

- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in using data analytics to solve various issues in Semiconductor fabs

- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
