Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineer having over 15+ years’ experience in asset integrity platform of various upstream, downstream & Midstream Oil/ Gas operators with API 510, API 570, API 653, API 580, API 571 certifications

  • NACE Corrosion & NACE Protective Coating certifications will be added advantage

  • Interpret and evaluate inspection vehicle data (Geometric, Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL)and TFI (Transverse Field Inspection) to facilitate the on-going safe operation of offshore and onshore pipelines.

  • Perform an initial run check to ensure inspection data meets client’s minimum specifications within contractual requirements.

  • Provide preliminary and Final Report of In Line Inspection (ILI) data using various manual and automatic evaluation technique.

  • Providing fitness for purpose and recommendation for repair for the inspected offshore and onshore pipelines based on In Line inspection (ILI) results.

  • Corrosion growth rate assessment based on comparison of different ILI tool run data.

  • Thorough knowledge in Estimated Repair Factor, Safe pressure and failure pressure calculation.

  • Analysis and calibration of severe defects based on Pull through test and dig verification result.

  • Providing Final report and recommendations to client based on the ILI result

  • Mentor & Train Junior engineers to perform the task

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Knowledge of pipeline inspection & Pipeline integrity assessments.

  • Proficient in standards like API 570, API 653, API 580, API 571

  • Knowledge of Intelligent or smart inspection tools

Desired Skills:

  • Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.

  • Ability to handle discussions / communications independently
