Description We are in search of a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role primarily focuses on managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. It also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process customer credit applications in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly.

• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger.

• Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end close.

• Proficiently use accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Knowledge of Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks

• Knowledge of Oracle for accounting purposes

• Experience with QuickBooks for financial management

• Familiarity with SAP for accounting tasks

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team as well as independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
