Purpose of Role

Under Armour is looking for a Sr. Professional, Strategic Procurement Center of Excellence to drive continuous improvement of the Strategic Procurement organization. This role is critical to the transformation and ongoing optimization of the Under Armour Source to Pay environment.

The individual in this role will play a critical part in Strategic Procurement’s multi-year transformation journey including empowering digital transformation through technology, expanding, and enhancing Procurement capabilities, and elevating and standardizing Procurement services through best practices.

This role will partner closely with global spend category managers in Strategic Procurement as well as cross-functional teams such as Finance, Legal, Technology. Projects and areas of oversight will include Third-party risk management, Value management, Spend Analytics, E – Sourcing, organizational KPIs and ROI, training, change management, communication, business process architecture and related systems. This position will report to the Head of the Center of Excellence, Strategic Procurement.

Your Impact

• Lead and govern the Third-Party Risk Management process and support category managers in the Review and Approval of New Suppliers during the Supplier Onboarding process.

• Be a resource for Under Armour employees and Suppliers for questions on how to submit and approve Engagement requests.

• Build KPI report & tracking inclusive of industry benchmarks.

• Work with Risk Domain Owners to address challenges & identify areas for improvement.

• Facilitates the process to integrate Due Diligence findings into Ariba and supports & answers questions on the process.

• Facilitate the cross functional team (Global Strategic Procurement, Legal, and Finance) adoption of process documentation, templates, and systems that will optimize Indirect Procurement.

• Provide project management and analytical support to leadership for core procurement processes (Ariba, Value Management, DocuSign, contract/PO workflow, etc.)

• Ad-hoc projects to support procurement functions as needed.

• Partner with spend category managers to document current spend management processes, and identify / implement significant opportunities for improvement.

• Deliver project and change management including activity timelines, resource management, budgeting, and reporting.

• Drive resolution to systemic process, technology, and program gaps.

• Responsible for continuous improvements to performance metrics, programs/processes, systems, and innovations to achieve higher levels of business impact.

• Drive enablement of successful functional partnership with the business, key stakeholders, budget owners through development and enhancement of Global Strategic Procurement best practices, processes, systems, and standardization.

• Enable best in class spend analytics, market intelligence and industry research processes and tools for Strategic Procurement team members to identify and solve high value problems and support innovation for their categories.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and supporting Procure to Pay systems and processes (ERP, procure-to-pay, and e-sourcing technology solutions (preferably SAP Ariba).

• Demonstrated success in executing transformational projects, developing, and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, and establishing effective processes and methods of ensuring performance.

• Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to effectively present finding to all levels of the company.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Finance, Management Consulting, or Project Management with proven track record of success in leading projects that involve process improvement and change management.

• The ability to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and execute with minimal supervision.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate change management with teammates at all levels of the organization

• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint)

• Bachelor’s degree in finance / supply chain management / business administration or related background.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.

  • Return to Work Designation: 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

$73,898.00 - $101,609.20 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
