Actalent Space Planner in Baltimore, Maryland

Job Title: Space Planner

Job Description

The Space Planner is responsible for designing and organizing the layout of interior spaces to ensure they are functional, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing.

Hard Skills

  • Analyzing Space Requirements: Assessing the needs of the space and determining the best use of available areas.

  • Creating Layouts: Developing detailed floor plans and diagrams using software like AutoCAD or similar tools.

  • Project Management: Overseeing office moves, renovations, and expansions, including the installation of furniture and equipment.

  • Ensuring Compliance: Making sure designs adhere to safety regulations, accessibility standards, and ergonomic principles.

  • Optimizing Space Utilization: Identifying and recommending ways to improve space efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of space utilization and project details.

Soft Skills

  • Collaborating with Teams: Working with architects, interior designers, and other professionals to create cohesive designs.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Baltimore, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

Onsite at NGC (BWI) 3 days a week, the other 2 are hybrid or in the Baltimore office as needed - this is intended to be a 3&2 schedule. Embedded with NGC and two other MCA employees
