Robert Half Project Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland

Description

An established university in Baltimore is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Communications and Outreach Coordinator. This key role involves coordination of the outreach function of the Center, providing operational leadership to ensure the successful delivery of blockchain and FinTech-related programs, conferences, workshops, and events. The coordinator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Center's impact across the university and other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), promoting excellence in blockchain and FinTech education and research. We seek an individual passionate about driving innovation, building meaningful partnerships, and contributing to the success of our students and the broader community.

Job duties include:

• Coordinate blockchain and FinTech-related programs, conferences, workshops, webinars, and other events at the university and across several HBCUs.

• Ensure that all programs meet operational targets, quality assurance standards, and performance metrics.

• Monitor program execution, outcomes, and impact, making adjustments as necessary to align with the Center’s strategic goals.

• Expand the Center’s network by constantly adding new faculty, students, administrators, and corporate partners to the Center’s database list.

• Maintain and preserve the integrity of the Center’s responsibility in protecting privacy and security of the individual in the Center’s databases.

• Protect the contact databases created by the Center as its proprietary assets.

Requirements - Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work

  • All applicants must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, though a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field is preferred

    • Past experience with JIRA, Mavenlink, and NetSuite
  • 1 year of business/office experience required

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Expertise in database and file management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Microsoft Word experience

  • Command of MS Outlook

  • Proven knowledge of project management

  • Microsoft Project experience

  • Well-founded grasp of calendar managements and scheduling appointments

  • General familiarity with scheduling

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Practical knowledge of presentation preparation
