Johns Hopkins University Postdoctoral position in Lunar Geophysics in Baltimore, Maryland

Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a post-doctoral research position in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. This project largely involves computer-based data analysis, but may also involve work with instrumentation in the laboratory or in the field. Familiarity with analysis of Earth-based or planetary geophysical data is especially desired. The successful applicant could participate in the operation of NASA's upcoming Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) mission to the Moon (www.nasa.gov/viper). The position carries a competitive salary and fringe benefits and provides eligibility to participate in the Johns Hopkins University postdoc health plans.

We seek outstanding individuals with a recent Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary sciences, or related science, engineering, or computational fields. The successful applicant will work with the research group of Dr. Kevin Lewis on projects related to gravimetry and seismology on the Moon.
