Description

Robert Half is immediately looking to identify a Customer Support Specialist to join a small, family owned food manufacturer in Baltimore, MD.

Summary:

From onboarding a new customer with their first order and obtaining credit approval from Finance for reoccurring orders, the Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for managing the customer purchase order process, order entry, production/shipping coordination, invoice generation/billing, overall sales support, customer communication management, account management, discrepancy resolution, and special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales. The Customer Advocate will also handle light office support functions such as maintaining/purchasing office supplies, maintaining the front office, and greeting all office visitors.

Requirements

  • Degree is required; Associates minimally is required.

  • Manufacturing/distribution industry experience is required; Food manufacturing industry experience is preferred!

  • 2+ years of customer service and sales support experience including order management, quotes, purchase orders, etc.

  • Must have experience using an ERP/CRM system; QuickBooks and Salesforce experience specifically is preferred.

  • Must be personable, friendly, articulate, customer service oriented, self-motivated, team player, solutions driven, good problem solver, high attention to detail, good with numbers, strong ability to multitask, and quick learner etc.
