Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper in BALTIMORE, Maryland. This role entails a variety of duties related to financial record keeping, including processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements and managing company ledgers. This position will also require you to work closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports, ensuring legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliation.

• Implement and maintain systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing.

• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings to ensure accurate financial statements.

• Use bookkeeping software, online spreadsheets, and databases to process and record financial transactions.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain data and create necessary financial reports.

• Use QuickBooks to manage and process financial data.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Proven Bookkeeping skills

• Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll systems

• Experience with QuickBooks software
