University of Maryland, Baltimore Assistant Professor /Multiple Sclerosis in Baltimore, Maryland

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Neurology seeks a full-time clinician-scientist at the Assistant or Associate Professor, non-tenure track level to join its Multiple Sclerosis Center for Treatment and Research. The appointed candidate will have clinical, teaching, and administrative duties. Clinical duties will involve providing outpatient service at the faculty practice and attending on the inpatient and consultative services at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Teaching duties will involve participation inorganized teaching activities for first and second-year medical students, residents, and fellows. Administrative duties will consist of participation in departmental and school committees as requested by the Department Chair. Research duties will include participation in ongoing clinical trials for Multiple Sclerosis research and seeking extramural funding for independent research. Candidates with existing funding and independent research programs will also be strongly considered.
