Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing administrative support to a large department.

  • Organizes department functions and meetings and provides complex administrative support for the entire group.

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing wide range of administrative support to include: word processing, ordering supplies, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, filing, time sheet/attendance tracking and P.O. processing)

  • Performing a variety of both complex and routine duties such as creating letters, spreadsheets, reports and may assist in development of presentations)

  • Assisting in special projects requiring researching, compiling data, bookkeeping and pay rolling assistance, and some analysis if required)

  • Assisting with department budget process including reconciling discrepancies in methodology financial statements, inputting and receiving financials)

  • Assisting lower level administrative staff with various projects or tasks if required

  • Drafting letters, creating and/or maintaining spreadsheets and reports, and assisting with the development of presentations)

  • Assisting with special projects requiring research, compiling data)

  • Monitoring departmental expenses against budget, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with budget projections and development)

  • Coordinating office moves/renovations, repairs and maintenance
