Your Role within Connected Apps

In the role as Product Owner, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer here at GN Hearing, a part of GN. This is not just a job; it's a mission to enhance lives through cutting-edge technology and dedication.

You will be instrumental in keeping our apps innovative by mastering the fine art of navigating your team(s) through the development of new features alongside handling defects, requirements, and test cases.

You will be responsible for 1-2 SCRUM teams of 3-7 software developers and testers, taking ownership of the team backlog and representing the team in PO Sync and other cross-functional meetings. These teams are part of the Connected Apps teams that develop Mobile Apps and SDK’s for all of GN Hearing’s hearing aids and accessories, like wireless audio streamers and chargers.

The team you will be part of

You will join our department consisting of Developers, DevOps & Test Automation Engineers, Product and Epic Owners.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a well-functioning SCRUM team where things like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Up, PO Sync and Retrospectives are conducted effectively – but also with a lot of humor and team spirit. We enjoy developing excellent mobile apps for our hearing aids and we are proud of GN’s tradition of being a first mover and tech leader in the industry.

At GN, we spearheads key technological advancements in smart audio systems. At our HQ in Ballerup, you will be joining the GN Software Solutions department, where we try to set standards for how to develop excellent Cloud, PC and Mobile software that are supporting all GN’s products.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Define and prioritize the team’s product backlog items.

• Provide clarification for estimation during backlog refinement.

• Set sprint goals for the team.

• Accept stories so that they can be demoed at the end of the sprints.

• Represent the team in PO Syncs and other cross-functional meetings.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

• A relevant degree related to software development.

• Several years of experience being a SCRUM product owner.

• A positive and friendly attitude.

• A team-oriented mindset.

• Possesses aptitude for resolving issues and maintains a constructive outlook.

• Fluent written and spoken English skills

• Great communication and stakeholder management skills in general
