Overview: Join our team as a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of Webber Township properties, including the Township Hall compound, fire department building, youth park, and future Boat Launch at Bush Lake. This role encompasses a range of maintenance duties from groundskeeping to emergency repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Secure all buildings and grounds.
• Supervise assistant maintenance staff.
• Order and purchase supplies as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and notify Township Supervisor.
• Perform emergency repairs within skill level.
• Maintain project logs and provide monthly reports to Township Board.
• Coordinate with contractors for emergency repairs.
• Assist MISS Dig in utility line locating.
• Maintain street signs, replace, and purchase as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on power generators.
• Move trash to curb for weekly pick-up.

Summer Duties:

• Perform lawn care and grounds maintenance including grass cutting, weed trimming, and irrigation.
• Maintain Youth Park amenities, playgrounds, trails, and irrigation systems.
• Prepare facilities for events including pavilion cleaning and setup.

Winter Duties:

• Snow and ice removal from driveways, parking areas, and sidewalks.
• Ensure proper operation of heating systems.
• Maintain and inspect power generators.
