Susquehanna International Group, LLP in Bala Cynwyd, PA seeks a FPGA Engineer - Mid (Multiple Openings) to autonomously architect, design, develop, simulate, test and verify accelerated hardware solutions; participate in all phases of the entire hardware development lifecycle from initial requirements gathering through final quality assurance, implementation and subsequent enhancements and support of accelerated hardware solutions; engage in problem definition, decomposition, and solutions definition within the scope of the project; research, design and develop functional and technical Register-Transfer Level (RTL) design specifications using knowledge of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) vendor tools, simulation tools and hardware description languages including Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL) or Verilog; work with software developers and other stakeholders to analyze business needs and refine project requirements to determine feasibility of design; use in-depth knowledge of FPGA design and architecture to translate requirements into efficient hardware solution; develop an understanding of the relevant aspects of the business domain (problems, activities, processes) and apply that understanding to maximize technology value; document new hardware interfaces and expected behaviors and maintain existing documentation; use continuous integration tools and version control systems to keep track of changes to source code; and research new hardware technologies in order to innovate and enhance the firm's technology stack.

Requires Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, plus five (5) years of post-bachelor's, progressive experience with RTL design for FPGA in VHDL or Verilog, or RTL design for ASIC in VHDL or Verilog.
