We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Bagging Operations Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our operations, overseeing the bagging process to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional produce.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bagging machines for efficient filling of bags with carrots.

• Inspect bags for proper weight, sealing, and labeling to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to maximize performance and reduce downtime.

• Track inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

• Document production quantities, machine performance, and any issues that arise during shifts.

• Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues with bagging equipment.

• Work closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address operational challenges.

• Manage the supply of packaging materials to ensure continuous operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

• Capability to stand for extended periods.

• Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

• Steel-toe shoes are required.

• Drug screening/ Background check is required.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of machinery.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience in a production environment is preferred.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working weekends
