CANA ISLAND LIGHT STATION Assistant Site Manager in BAILEYS HARBOR, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Provide excellent customer service Handle cash and credit card transactions at the Admissions Desk, including admissions, store sales, and guest interactions; Be accountable for cash handling, including opening and closing drawers, counting cash, making deposits, making sure enough change is in the drawer; Communicate information and history of Cana Island Light Station and Door County Maritime Museum; Explain the fee structure and tower times and delays; Maintain accurate records of visitor count and monies received; Maintains an expert level of knowledge and proficiency in the museum\'s Point of Sale computer system; Facilitate Lighthouse tower climbs by staffing top and/or bottom of the lighthouse tower as needed; Act as Manager on Duty when Site Manager is not on site. Perform other duties as assigned; ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent public relations and customer service skills, including customer service concepts and techniques; Strong computer skills and a ability to learn Point of Sale computer systems and software; Demonstrates resourcefulness, good judgment, and excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
