We are looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist in the planning, organizing, developing and directing of our day-to-day functions and activities of the Nursing Department at Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab Center! The ADON will: Assist in overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure quality care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration Monitor and assess resident health status and make appropriate recommendations for care adjustments Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and qualifications. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by the organization. This position is Monday - Friday 8:00a-4:30p, however, they may vary depending on workload and rotating weekends. You may be required to work on all shifts, weekends, and holidays. This may include working on the cart for RN/nurse coverage. Assisting DON with phone calls after hours to meet the needs of the facility. The hours, shifts and days of the week may vary depending on staffing availability patterns.
