Planate Management Group LLC Country Manager (Baghdad, Iraq) in Baghdad, Iraq

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide.

The Country Manager will represent the organization, develop and implement the company's strategic plan in Iraq. You will be collaborating with the headquarters, other country directors and the government of the country in operation.

Our salary range, based on the market data is $1300 - $2000 per month, range varies depending on experience and qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial and overall point of entry for client and staff interface to Planate Management and identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the region

  • Communicate and implement Company’s vision, mission and overall direction including Company’s philosophies and guidelines under their Division/Group/Country Office/Project Team

  • Oversee daily operations of the organization and ensure efficient functioning of all business activities

  • Oversee and be responsible for Company’s financial performance ensuring financial targets are met

  • Ensure the organization follows the local laws and regulations, liaising with management at the main office and providing reports on activities, ensuring proper financial control are in place and representing the organization at meeting

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, clients, and partners

  • Lead efforts to secure new projects and contracts

  • Adapt and improve the PMG Staffing Operational Concept in Iraq

  • Ensure proper hiring, training, firing and managing all employees to comply to Company’s plans, policies and processes

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring high levels of performance and morale

  • Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the safety of employees and assets. Identify and mitigate risks associated with operating in Iraq

  • Ensure all operations adhere to local and international ethical standards

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

  • Provide regular reports to corporate headquarters on operational performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives.

  • Represent the company in local communities and engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives.

  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

    Qualifications to be successful in the role :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Public Policy/Administration, Business Management, or any related discipline.

  • At least 5 years significant experience in the same capacity and with 2 years of experience in leadership role.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Must be able to drive revenue growth and achieve targets for the company.
