Field Service Engineer Core Diagnostics - Switzerland/Ticino region

field-based in region Ticino

We are currently looking for a Service Technician (Technical Service Specialist) in the Ticino area in the field of laboratory diagnostics.

In the role of Field Service Engineer / Service Technician, you will take on responsibility as a technical expert for our product families in the diagnostics division and support our customers as a contact person on site.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform new instrument installations, customer trainings, hardware and software modifications, and safety checks

  • Device and reagent troubleshooting

  • Scheduling and implementation of regular maintenance work

  • Support of sales staff through joint customer visits

  • Control and independent management of spare parts

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

  • Degree in medical technology, or a completed vocational training in the medical technology or electromechanical field with at least 2 years of professional experience

  • Competent application of current computer technology, knowledge of network technology desired

  • Strong communication skills with the capability to identify and focus on customer needs to create and maintain highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Fluent in Italian; very good German and/or English language skills
