We are seeking an experienced and dedicated EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager to join our team within the OEM Automotive engineered fastener industry. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe and healthy work environment. Your expertise in EHS management, risk assessment, and incident prevention will play a crucial role in protecting the well-being of our employees and maintaining high environmental standards and security system management.

The Job:

As an EHS Manager, you’ll be part of our Industrial team located in Ayutthaya and Rayong, Thailand. You’ll get to:

  • Maintain the SBD EHS system to prevent EHS incidents and to fulfill legislation requirements, SBD EHS standards, and other requirements from OEM Automotive customers and stakeholders.

  • Establish and promote a strong safety culture within the organization, fostering employee awareness, engagement, and accountability for EHS practices.

  • Maintain ISO 14001 & 45001 related EHS certification.

  • Support for Ayutthaya manufacturing plant and Rayong distribution center to ensure the facilities is complying with the EHS expectations and related requirements.

  • Perform EHS inspection and risk assessment and follow up on the gap closure.

  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs/consultations for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

  • Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions and practices to identify and address potential safety and health concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and developing effective preventive measures.

  • Maintain and update EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, permits, licenses, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. in accordance with local and Corporate EHS requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, engineering, and maintenance, to integrate EHS considerations into business processes and projects.

  • Stay informed about new EHS regulations, standards, and best practices, and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Conduct audits and inspections to assess EHS performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress against established goals and targets.

  • Conduct and handle Security activities with the security guard services and control the security activities in the facilities.

The Person:

  • More than 8 years of EHS experience, and a strong willingness to improve the EHS culture and foster the safety-mind set among the team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Additional certifications in EHS are a must.

  • Proven experience as an EHS leader or in a similar role within the Automotive OEM industry or related manufacturing environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly within the plastic fastener industry.

  • Familiarity with relevant global EHS Policies and standards regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHAS) and the OEM Automotive customers’ requirements for safely handling materials and waste management.

  • Experienced in the security personnel management, system implementation and maintaining the security activities in facilities.

  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and emergency response protocols.
