DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Parts Manager - Arizona Operations to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business in Avondale, AZ.

Job Summary:

Supervises Parts Specialists and or warehouse staff (within a service branch location)

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Supervise and Develop Team : Oversee a team of Parts Specialists and warehouse staff, providing performance feedback, development opportunities, and career growth.

  • Leadership in Parts Capability : Demonstrate leadership in parts capability processes and business results.

  • Inventory Management : Manage physical inventory using control methodologies to meet customer expectations.

  • Global Parts Support : Ensure worldwide parts support for customers, OEMs, and the distribution channel, especially for complex new product launches and current products in the field.

  • Policy and Procedure Compliance : Ensure policies and procedures are followed, productivity is achieved, and employee questions are answered.

  • Customer Relationship Management : Visit key customers to understand concerns, develop relationships, and analyze inquiries to identify recurring problems and recommend solutions.

  • Team Planning and Coordination : Plan, prioritize, and schedule team activities and resources to ensure service continuity, and liaise with other managers to integrate customer order management with other business areas.

  • Health and Safety Advocacy : Champion positive health and safety behaviors, influencing leaders and employees to create a safe environment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College or trade based certification or experience equivalent in related field.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate industry-related experience required; either related to Parts, Service or Warehousing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Available to travel occasionally both domestically, and internationally (Mexico). Required to be available for afterhours on-call emergency events. Parts Manager will be onsite role based at the Cummins Avondale branch but will have train, advise and assist responsibilities in Cummins Mesa and Tucson locations.

Compensation and Benefits

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
