Position Description/Minimum Qualifications * Summary Serves as Agency first point of contact for all incoming clients, provides a welcoming and informative environment for those who come into the office seeking assistance and/or information. Essential Functions: - Performs all responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism. - Maintains client confidentiality. - Greets all persons and reviews the reason for their visit to Fuel Assistance. Requests person to sign in and/or take a number and directs them to the proper location. - Addresses any concerns of the public and provides the necessary guidance to reach a solution for the concern(s). Including, but not limited to, information regarding Fuel Assistance, Conservation, and other Self Help programs. - Provides information and counsel\'s client about other services provided in the community, and makes referrals to appropriate Self Help Programs and/or other social service agencies. - Makes copies and date stamps materials brought in by a prospective client in order to complete and application. - Provides information regarding a client?s application by researching the information available and shown on the computer. - Follows appointment log on daily basis and makes any/all necessary corrections with regard to re-scheduling of appointments. - Coordinates emergency appointments with Information Specialists and supports the Fast Track Emergency Process. - Books appointments as necessary - Provides information on the availability of resources for households who have exhausted their Fuel Assistance benefits, or who may need referrals to non-energy related agencies. - Directs the proper handling of any FedEx and/or UPS packages with incoming and outgoing - Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate.
