Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are looking for experienced Welders and Structural Welders/Fabricators for our fabrication facility and construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components for various projects, as well as visually inspecting welds to ensure quality. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials and welding processes. Qualified applicants should have a thorough understanding of welding safety protocols and procedures and the ability to read blueprints and spool drawings.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Follow appropriate welding procedures as required for each project.
Use welding and fabrication tools to cut, shape, and join metal components.
Operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure that all welds meet quality standards.
Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS) or similar in Structural (SMAW) and Pipe (SMAW)/(GTAW) are preferred but not required.
Ability to pass pre-employment welding tests in Structural (SMAW) and Pipe (SMAW)/ (GTAW) in carbon and stainless steels.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings for layout/fitting of structural and pipe components.
Proficiency with various tools and equipment (drills, grinders, saws, hydraulic presses, plasma torch, etc.).
Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with close to 50 hours a week. The role requires the ability to crouch, bend, twist for extended periods in a manufacturing environment, climb stairs, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, and lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
