Amazing UX Writing opportunity at one of the largest and most beloved technology and media companies in the world!

Description:

A large team, supporting an array of products, ranging from external and internal web tools to global programs for consumer-facing media products is looking for an exceptional UX Writer. In this role, you will create functional and informative messaging aimed at the company's employees and partners. In addition, you will work alongside teams of Product Managers, Developers, Designers and Producers to communicate at an in-depth level. The ideal candidate for the role has deep curiosity for our audience and how to best help them in their needs.

Key Qualifications

• Strong empathy for users and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

• Research user preferences and trends, and conduct user research to understand unmet needs

• Write grammatically correct content & microcopy for user interfaces, such as error messages, text on buttons, menu lists, and push notifications

• Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling copy for digital interfaces, with a keen understanding of grammar, syntax, and style

• Conduct thorough reviews and proofreading of all copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design guidelines

• Continuously iterate on copy based on user feedback, usability testing, and data-driven insights to optimize user engagement

• Outstanding ability to communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership

• Experience taking large, complex operational processes and distilling into simple, informational stories

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as working with designers, UX/UI copywriters, and product managers

• Expert level communication and organizational skills

• Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment

• Familiar with industry accessibility standards

• Meticulous attention to detail

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating elegant, informative stories for cross functional teams. The position requires deliverables to be provided under tight deadlines and with input from many cross-functional stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills are a must, as well as coolness under pressure, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to cope with rapid change.

Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands high standards and design aesthetic to the core.

Additional Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating long-form copy work

• Basic experience in Jira project management software

• 5+ years of experience in UX copywriting

• Expert knowledge of word processing programs

• Basic skills in Keynote

• Proficiency in macOS
