Supports local and remote systems and users. Provides strategy, architecture, and systems design for cloud services on Azure and Amazon Web Services. Automates routines using scripting and other programming languages. Provides advanced administration of Microsoft M/O365 services in a federated environment to provide authentication, access control, and systems monitoring. Deploys new service and performs configuration services, maintenance activities and advance server and application administration. Provides oversight and guidance in creating policies and standards to guide the Agency in support of user data access rights and secure system environments. Manages server and application patching. Upgrades existing systems by conferring with vendors and service providers, developing, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements and new software. Provides oversight and recommendations on product evaluations for software and prepares recommendation reports to management. Oversees day-to-day server/client problems as third tier support for the Help Desk. Determines operational, technical, and system requirements for the location, installation, operation, and maintenance of servers. Cross-trains on non-specialized areas to assist co-workers. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of sixty semester hours from an accredited college or university. Experience: 10 years of overall windows Systems Administration. 4 years of experience in Microsoft 365 Cloud services. 3 years of experience in PowerShell or other scripting languages. NOTE: Experience may have occurred concurrently. Licensure: Applicant must possess a valid class C Texas drivers license. ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTIONS Education: One additional year of the required experience may substitute for 30 hours of the required education, with a maximum substitution of 60 semest
