VERIGY US INC Technical Program Manager in Austin, Texas

Develop and maintain project plans which may include a traditional waterfall work breakdown structure or alternatively, a SCRUM, Agile, or Kanban based project. Evaluate various subcontractors, including other business units and integrate them into the project resource team. Establish a working relationship with Sales Engineering manager and project auditor. Participate in development and approval of Statement of Work (SOW). Contact and evaluate sub- contractors such as printed circuit board design and manufacturing vendors and participate in the selection and management of those vendors. Resolve technical challenges and resource issues that are impacting or blocking the project. Ensure that that project deliverables are well bounded and clearly understood. Identify schedule and resource risks and to develop targeted mitigation plans. Lead Advantest team status meetings to report, track, and verify progress. Provide project status updates to Advantest management and stakeholders and the customer at agreed upon intervals. Perform a project retrospective to provide continuous improvement for future projects. Telecommuting permitted. 30% of domestic and international travel required.

Minimum Requirements: Education: Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Experience: One (1) year of experience in job offered, Application Development Engineer, or in a related occupation.
