The Opportunity

Provide daily oversight of complete discounting and other contract funding / booking related activities. It is a process that will reverse a customer account record and associated. Flat cancellations are vital to correct technical contract errors, booking error and to also allow for dealer accommodations. Since discounting is an integral component to the origination of new contracts, timeliness and accuracy are critical to provide "Best in Class" service to dealers and customers. This position requires performance of sophisticated work with limited supervision and/or instruction, prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Conduct analysis into trends and themes, mitigating potential operational risk, and producing reporting information. This position has a direct impact on our brand reputation, so it is critical to ensure proper due diligence is followed in complaint handling while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The Work Itself

  • Timely review and audit new contracts for compliance with pricing / policy guidelines and state specific requirements.
  • Lead the Business Units in consistency, guidance and direction in matters concerning the interpretation and application of Ally BCP policies, standards, best practices and business continuity planning, tools, and priorities.
  • Communicates optimally and clearly on a daily, weekly, monthly basis with outside suppliers, customers and dealers to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine requests.
  • Prepare and send acknowledgments letters to consumers regarding contract modifications.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skill set

  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment while achieving cycle time and accuracy requirements
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail; in identifying any fraud or potentially fraudulent information.
  • Work collaboratively with dealers, sales, and underwriting teams to resolve questions or deficiencies regarding contract packages.
  • Respond to incoming e-mails regarding general program information or Team specific questions.
  • Follow specific guidelines regarding debiting dealer’s bank accounts for the amount of the proceeds when either an agreement is not received or cannot be booked.
  • Use company specific systems / databases to accurately record information received and to document status of funding. In addition, perform basic accounting functions related to dealer payments and corrections.
  • Support various business and / or department level projects.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities; collaborate with peers and management to communicate improvement suggestions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with applicant, dealer and company information.
  • Perform various additional tasks as assigned by a manager which may or may not be included in the position duties and responsibilities.

The Skills You Bring

Education and Experience: * High school diploma or GED is required. * College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. * Solid understanding in Windows and Internet-based environment required. Has good knowledge of Microsoft and mainframe applications. * Fundamental knowledge of automotive finance documentation including but not limited to finance contracts, title applications, bills of sale, vehicle invoices, and documentation for other products financed with the purchase of an automobile preferred.

Customer Experience * Two years customer service or professional office experience is required. * Experience in the financial services industry is preferred. * Willingness to work flexible hours (including weekends) as business needs require resulting in "outstanding" service to dealers and customers. * Consistently meet or exceed turnaround time goals. * Maintain acceptable attendance, punctuality and effective time management to ensure appropriate staffing to meet customer-based metrics * Motivated and self-driven. * Ability to work well as part of a team exhibit objectivity and be open minded towards the ideas and views of others, give as well as welcome feedback, contribute to building team spirit, and aid others to succeed. * Strong verbal and oral communication skills-correct typing, ability to build grammatically accurate responses/comments without spelling errors.

Emerging: 55000

Experienced: 67500

Expert: 80000
