The team and the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization supports our business, market and enabling area leaders by providing world class financial support. FP&A is made up of advisors who are influential in decision-making and partner with finance leaders to drive meaningful strategic and financial outcomes.

Within FP&A, the Strategic Analytics (SA) team integrates big data analytics, strategic thinking, and deep firm knowledge to provide leadership with insights to drive informed decision-making and enable continued growth. The team partners with business and operational leaders to provide an impact by leveraging data and analytical tools, strategic thinking and hypothesis-based analysis. Specific responsibilities and qualifications for the Analyst role are outlined below.

Work you'll do

Core responsibilities

  • Apply strategic thinking and hypothesis-based consulting to frame complex questions into analytical problems and provide meaningful insights

  • Support Finance and firm leadership with ad-hoc specialized analyses

  • Support large, complex engagements for FP&A and Finance leaders to transform the organization, with a focus on forward-looking operations and change management

  • Transform data into useful information tailored to leadership needs through storyboarding and data visualization

  • Structure modeling efforts that underpin strategic recommendations

  • Support key stakeholder groups to build cross-functional relationships across the organization

Other responsibilities

  • Track project progress through milestones and metrics

  • Develop executive level presentations to communicate insights from analytics

  • Build supporting materials that assist leaders and stakeholders in the decision-making process

  • Support leaders in strategic activities and engage in stretch opportunities aligned with professional development goals and strengths

    Qualifications

Required:

  • Junior status (Spring 2026 expected graduation date) enrolled in a full-time academic program in one of these related majors: Data Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the following areas:

  • Financial reporting and analysis

  • Data analysis, management, and visualization

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

  • The start date for this position will be in Summer 2025

  • Ability to travel 10-20% for training and job-related purposes

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Experience with Tableau

  • Experience with Python

  • Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred)
