The Worldwide Retail Growth and Development team is responsible for the strategic planning, acquisition, design, construction, launch, and maintenance of Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores' real estate assets. This includes Whole Foods Market, Amazon Grocery Stores, and Amazon Grocery Logistics.

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to support our central Growth & Development Business Operations org. The Sr. Program Manager will sit on the Business Operations leadership team and work closely with leaders across Business Operations and the wider Growth & Development org. Key responsibilities will be developing and managing Business Operations’ ‘Rhythm of the Business,’ overall prioritization and project tracking, escalations, special projects, and more. The role will be responsible for communicating across a wide variety of stakeholder teams, leading and contributing to key business documents, and organizing and helping to prioritize and track projects across Business Operations. The role will also be responsible for resolving regular escalations by quickly gathering information and bringing together the right group of stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
