Honeywell Sr Account Manager - Gas Sensors in Austin, Texas
As a Sr Sales Account Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the company's sales growth through effective account management. With your extensive experience in managing key accounts and driving revenue growth, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your ability to identify new business opportunities, provide tailored solutions, and mentor account managers and sales teams will contribute to the company's growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership. This role will have responsibility to travel within the US and Canada.
You will report directly to our Sales Director and you’ll work remotely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be responsible for the full internal sales cycle opportunities
Find, explore and identify new business opportunities within HON’s related businesses
Find, explore and identify new business opportunities in external 3rd party markets related to Gas Sensing
Foster and develop relationships with Inter-company partners and 3rd party new businesses as potential customers
Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions
Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth
Maintain active intelligence with market trends
Travel up to 50%

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
