The Opportunity:

Are you a problem solver, ready for a challenge this summer? CACI is seeking a Software Engineering intern for Summer 2025 at our Austin, TX location! The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks, this position will be 100% on-site.

Responsibilities:

The Software Development Group is responsible for maintaining and enhancing large distributed systems and developing software for future products and systems. Responsibilities include developing new server applications, maintenance of existing applications, interfacing with the system’s data repository, and developing new user interface visualizations and workflows.

This position is for individuals interested in a broad area of Software Engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working in a teamwork environment and have not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Signal Processing, Physics, Math, Computer Science or related field

  • Current status as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be at a level appropriate for your academic level

Desired:

  • Java programming of JEE or servlet-based applications

  • JavaScript development

  • C/C++ development

  • Linux/Unix operating systems

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,900 - 79,900 USD
