Amazon Senior AR Specialist, Public Sector in Austin, Texas

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Senior Analyst Relations (AR) Specialist to help drive its global Public Sector AR program. The AR leader will create and drive strategy and tactics to effectively communicate key differentiators for AWS services in public sector domains, including state and local government and education (K-12 and Higher Education).

Our role is to inform these analysts and explain how AWS is different from traditional IT infrastructure offerings, and to work with these analysts to understand core customer requirements and concerns.

Key job responsibilities

· Develop and execute Global Public Sector AR program to educate the analyst community

· Proactively manage and secure positive placement of AWS services in key analyst reports

· Drive analyst awareness of AWS Public Sector offerings and significantly expand analyst understanding of the unique AWS approach to cloud computing

· Deliver on-going AR program activities such as analyst briefings, events, inquiries, reporting and other core program tactics

· Prioritize and manage incoming analyst requests for information, research review, customer references, event speakers, and research

· Prepare AWS executives for engaging with analysts

· Drive alignment with sales, marketing and product teams to maximize awareness of customer requirements, existing market evidence, and AR program impact

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
