Coordinate with research staff to assure that research activities are performed in accordance with federal, state, and institutional review board regulations.Maintain and assist with the preparation of IRB protocols and regulatory documents.Aid with research subject recruitment and consent.Compile medical record information into an anonymized database.Assist in the collection of physiologic, ultrasound and MRI data in children and adults with chronic illnesses.Prepare and perform analysis on blood and urine samples in a wet laboratory setting.Perform mechanical testing on animal and human tissues.Order and organize laboratory supplies and equipment.Write basic software (MATLAB, Python) to analyze and report medical imaging data.Attend and contribute to weekly research team meetings.Write up and present findings at international scientific conferences.
