TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION Reemployment Coordinator (Dallas/Fort Worth Region) in Austin, Texas

This position is for the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metropolitan area.

You will need to live in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metropolitan area. This position requires travel statewide and reporting to at least one Workforce Solutions Office every two weeks in the DFW region.

WHO YOU ARE: A collaborative engaged professional that will partner with the TWC workforce team and service providers to uplift Texans. You are a senior technical analyst with research skills. You have great communication and organization skills and are willing to telework from home 70% and travel 30% of the time, including 5% overnight.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Reemployment Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Serve as the local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training. -Become a subject matter expert on local labor market, local community support services and the RESEA program. -Conduct touchpoints with RESEA customers utilizing professional etiquette and demeanor to validate compliance with individual reemployment plans and other RESEA requirements. -Conduct research, program assessment, preliminary investigations and prepares reports. -Support and presents at RESEA conferences and conducts classroom training and webinars. -Assist in developing program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals. -Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH: -Two years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency. -Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH: -A Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university. -Knowledge of RESEA or other workforce program services, procedures, and policies. -Intermediate PowerPoint, presentation, and communication skills. -Experience writing site observation and operations reports. -Have great listening skills, and professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone etiquette. -Bilingual (Spanish/English).
