Job Title: QA SpecialistJob Description

Purpose: Perform sampling, inspecting, and physical testing of incoming commodities per appropriate product specification in a laboratory environment. Apply scientific knowledge to daily operations, data management, and problem-solving. Understand and follow documentation. Analyze basic/simple data, evaluate results, form conclusions, and recommend process and/or document improvements. Recognize deviation from normal operating procedures. Recognize and troubleshoot instrumentation and/or work order problems and routine operational issues. Responsibilities: Responsible for performing routine testing on incoming materials in accordance with approved specifications and procedures. Disposition incoming material for use in manufacturing. Maintain certification in assigned job responsibilities and complete training on-time. Participate in complaint handling, failure investigations, and CAPA documentation. Understand, implement, and maintain the quality policy and ensure compliance to site level policies and procedures. Develop knowledge of products and technologies. Interact on a necessary basis with internal and external support groups to perform core skills. Participate in team activities and area metric tracking. Support Operations efforts in meeting established production schedule. Report problems in a timely and accurate manner. Seek additional guidance or advice when problem is beyond scope of training or knowledge.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 15 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.

Work Environment

Monday thru Friday to train for about 6 to 8 weeks. Then they will move to the Wednesday thru Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM.
