About The Role:

The Project Manager (PM) manages all aspects of designated customer accounts in the areas of project and service delivery, under the direction of the Director of Professional Services.  The PM works collaboratively with internal and client-facing technical and management staff including State Agencies & District Stakeholders. The PM drives the projects to ensure the timely delivery of quality software products, services, and documentation to our customers.  The PM should have excellent organization, written, and communication skills, strong client-facing experience, should be comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team, and is capable of successfully handling multiple concurrent assignments with a high degree of emotional intelligence. This position reports to the Director of Services Delivery - State Nutrition.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure software and service delivery are within budget and on schedule, while achieving high customer satisfaction.

 • Works closely with Implementation Consultants and Product Managers/Owners on shared assigned client projects to ensure competition of deliverables.  Consults with Sales, Engineering, Product and Quality Assurance throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Communicate with clarity and confidence with both internal and external customers to guide desired outcomes. 

• Provide transparent communications about project status and health to Management using the tools provided (Smartsheet, Wrike, etc.)  

• Prioritize work efforts based on contractual obligations and timeframes, organizational strategic plans, and resource availability. 

• Provide project management coordination and controls consistent with project and operational needs. 

• Update, maintain and provide regular status reports & meetings to key stakeholders on regular basis including risks, budget, open items, timelines, issues 

• Manage projects consistently within appropriate tools

• Manage large scale projects with multiple stakeholders at a State Level 

• Develop and cultivate relationships with key client contacts. 

• Organize and facilitate working sessions with clients and internal resources.   

• Travel within the USA may be required

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience  

• 3-5 years of work experience managing large, complex client software implementations  

• Proven to be highly motivated, self-directed individual with minimum oversight 

• Escalates appropriately in a timely manner any issues, late deliverables or client risks 

• Strong customer-service/people skills 

• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects 

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• PMI/Agile Certifications a plus 

• K12 or State Government Project experience a plus
