Position Title: Product Manager

Job Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Plan and coordinate all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Build and drive deep engagements with strategic customers to define and drive the product requirements for their HPC and AI. Define and own the plan of record for product requirements for the next generation AMD Instinct GPU platforms. Drive the execution of these requirements with the internal software teams to accomplish the business goals. Coordinate work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develop detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Develop and maintain project delivery schedules with well-defined milestones. Manage and track program schedules, technical issues, and negotiate priorities against project plans to ensure key internal and external deliverables are met. Drive project lifecycle execution processes to ensure compliance with project processes and controls. Manage project resources by aligning allocations and demand with the PMO. Provide effective communication regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to management, development teams and business partners.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 36 months in job offered or closely related technical or engineering role.
Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related technical or engineering role.
Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
High performance computing;
MPI;
Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
Linux;
Slurm;
Gathering customer requirements and improving customer support processes; and
Benchmarking application codes.
Position requires one (1) year of experience in the following:
Project roadmapping; and
Infiniband, Open MPI, or UCX.
