Responsible for procuring necessary items on the local market and assisting Office Manager with approving documents as needed. Responsible for ensuring that all the certifications and training requirements remain current.Procures field training equipment from Ft Sam Houston Training support center as needed or requested and issues financial bars on student cadets who do not return assigned federal state property.Responsible for the daily operations of a supply room that houses clothing and equipment. Issues and receives University and Military property to and from staff and cadets of the Military Science Department.Secures, stores and catalogs military and university property within the supply room. Transports, picks up and accounts for uniforms or clothing items taken to laundry services.Shared responsibility for the dispatch and regular maintenance of three government vehicles and one government trailer.Teaches, coaches and mentors cadets in daily logistics operations. Works with the cadet staff to efficiently draw, issue and receive property that supports weekly leadership labs and biannual Field Training Exercises.Other related functions as assigned.
